scysa camps & Academies
SCYSA Camps & Academies are for players looking for additional development opportunities outside of regular league/team play (Fall Foundations, Recreation, Pre-Competitive, Competitive,Spring League). Development Academies are open to all players. Players not registered to an SCYSA Fall League team may be required to pay an additional BC Soccer insurance fee.
Player Development Academy
The Player Development Academy will be led under the direction of SCYSA Technical Director & Staff Coaches.
This program will run once a week on Wednesdays for 7 weeks. Players will be grouped with those of similar skill and ability, and will work to learn new skills and develop technical & tactical abilities.
Ages: Players born 2010-2019 (U8-U17)
Days: Wednesdays
Dates: Sept 16th- Nov 4th, 2026 (no session September 30th)
Times: 5:15 pm-6:15 pm (2016-2019)
6:30 pm-7:30 pm (2010-2015)
Location: Ted Dixon North, enter from Slim Street via East Porpoise Bay Road
Cost: $120
Goalie Academy
This program will run once a week on Wednesdays. This academy is for players keen to learn the fundamentals of goalkeeping and strengthen their skills.
Ages: Players born 2010-2019 (U8-U17)
Days: Wednesdays
Dates: Sept 16th - Nov 4th, 2026 (no session Sept 30th)
Times: 5:15pm-6:15pm (2010-2015)
6:30pm-7:30pm (2016-2019)
Location: Ted Dixon North, Enter from Slim Road via East Porpoise Bay Road
Cost: $100
Players are required to bring their own goalie gloves. Space is limited, so be sure to register quickly.
Summer Soccer Camps
SCYSA is hosting 3 weeks of Summer Soccer Camps on Cliff Gilker in the summer of 2026.
Technical Director, Aloysius Adolf will oversee the training with the help of youth volunteers.
Location: Cliff Gilker
Dates: July 6-10th (9am - 1 pm for both ages)
July 13-17th
July 27 - 31st (9am - 1 pm for both ages)
Times: U7 - U9 (2017-2019) 9 am - 1:00 pm
U10-U15 (2011-2016) 9 am - 1:00 pm
Cost: $130 per week
Limited to 32 players
Players will need to bring their own snacks and full water containers.
Ignite Girls Summer Soccer Camp
SCYSA is hosting 1 week of Ignite this summer on Shirley Macey.
Coaches Holly Neate and Devon O'Reilly will oversee the training with the help of youth volunteers.

Dates: August 10th - 14th
Times: U7 - U13 (2014-2020) 9am - 3:00pm
Cost: $50 per week
Spaces are limited
Players will need to bring their own snacks and full water containers.
If you are on the waitlist: Thank you for registering for IGNITE Summer Camp! Don't worry - this is due to a select few spots being held open for soccer newcomers. Based on this enrollment, spaces will become available off the waitlist starting July 10th.
Pro-D Day Camps 2026/2027
Pro-D Day Soccer Camp dates:
2026: October 23, November 27
2027: February 16, April 30
